I am excited to announce the winner of the free photoshoot. I assigned a number to everyone who entered (or two if they entered twice), then used the random number generator to pick the winner.

Lucky Number 25 was none other than the super sweet Brandon, who entered for his adorably pregnant wife. He was one of the few men to enter and could not have made it more obvious by the fact that the only information he left was his first name. Luckily his wife later filled me in that it was her Brandon who had entered (she told me this before she found out he was the winner). I am so excited to photograph their beautiful family including their amazingly hilarious son and their brand new baby boy too. Congrats Brandon!

My son was born a book worm. I have always loved this about him. When I handed him a book and told him to go outside, he happy took his book to read in the shade of his favorite tree. Getting him to come back inside was another story.

The I Heart Faces Challenge this week is one that is close to my heart. My children, like all children, grow up way too fast. Sometimes the messiness and craziness of two toddlers drives me insane, but I know I will look back one day and miss the little hand prints on the glass door and my two constant shadows.

This picture is of my son's work of art on my daughters face.

My little daughter is used to posing in pictures for me, but this one was all her own. I am so happy I was able to capture this quiet moment. I hope as she grows and those sweet little hands loose their chubbiness that she will often return her arms to this same position to find comfort and solace.

For the I Heart Faces "Red" challenge I just had to use this picture. Along with the bright color of the bricks, it also fit because my son was so sick of me asking him to smile for the camera that he turned a shade of red himself as he covered his face in frustration.
